The main point...

"Now the main point in what has been said is this: we have such a high priest, who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a minister in the sanctuary and in the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man."--Hebrews 8:1-2.  The Hebrew writer telling us the main point of what he has just said.

The main point.  The main point is we have a high priest, Christ, but He is unlike the high priests of the past who could only offer sacrifices for sins once a year, Christ is our high priest 24/7 and 365 days a year. This is the main point.

The main point.  The main point is that unlike the high priests of the past, Christ is high priest in the tabernacle (temple) made by God, not man.

The main point.  The main point is that the priests of the past were merely a shadow of what was really there, Christ.

The main point.  The main point is that the things of the past were copies of the pattern and the pattern is Christ.

The main point.  The main point is that Christ is who we need to pattern our lives after.

The main point.  By now, you probably are noticing a pattern that each time the main point is making reference to Christ.

The main point. THE MAIN POINT IS CHRIST! GET THE POINT?

The main point.  The main point is that we need to pattern our lives after Christ and His commands that we find written in the pages of Scripture. So again, THE MAIN POINT IS CHRIST! GET THE POINT?

So make a continual effort to adjust your lifestyle, beliefs, and thinking to the pattern, to the main point which is Christ and His commands.
