Pleasing the crowd...

"He took this from their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool and made it into a molten calf; and they said, "This is your god, O Israel, who brought you up from the land of Egypt."--Exodus 32:4-5.  The incident of the golden calf is one that is familiar to most of us, if not all of us.  What happened was that Moses was taking long on Mount Sinai.  The people became restless and maybe discouraged and appealed to Aaron to make an idol for them.  Rather than reminding the people of the second commandment, Aaron decides to please the crowd.

Pleasing the crowd.  I am not sure what was going through Aaron's head and I wonder what made him fold so easily to the crowd.

Pleasing the crowd.  Ever been caught in a situation like this where most of the people would rather do what pleases them and it is entirely up to you to turn them back to doing God's will?

Pleasing the crowd.  As Christians, we have a responsibility to stand up for God's will when someone, including our own brethren is attempting to compromise it. Sometimes we have to do this even when we are the only one doing it.

Pleasing the crowd.  This blog is a little shorter because it is simply a reminder to stand up for God's will even when everyone around you is attempting to compromise it.  I encourage you to take a look at my previous blog that is similar in nature called Take A Stand for further encouragement.

DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! PRAY ABOUT IT! LOVE Y'ALL! GOD BLESS!
