Ask God...

"...let him ask of God"--James 1:5

"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach and it will be given to him."--James 1:5.  James, reminding us that if we need wisdom, we need to look to God for said wisdom.  This is building on the point to consider it all joy when we encounter trials knowing that the testing of our faith produces endurance (James 1:3).  So if we need wisdom, ask God.

Ask God.  We have to take into consideration that the wisdom we request in the context of this passage is in relation to trials.

Ask God.  We have to admit that more often than not when the difficult times come in our lives, and believe me they will, it is often difficult to know what the right thing to do is.  If and when this is the case, ask God.

Ask God.  In times of trial we tend to panic and react without thinking things through and what this causes us to do is handle said trials in the wrong way and we end up making the situation worse.  Rather than panic, we need to ask God for wisdom as to how to appropriately handle the situation.

Ask God.  When these trials come and we ask for wisdom, what we need to do is not going to be miraculously clear cut.  This is why we need to think things through, figure the situation out and ask God.

Ask God.  James 1:6 says that when we ask we must ask in faith and without any doubting.  When we doubt, we are still prone to make the same mistakes because we "like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind" (James 1:6).  When we ask God, we must believe that He will guide us in the right direction under trial and that He will allow us to endure.

Ask God.  My encouragement to you is this.  If and when you go through a rough patch. Ask God and believe that He will give you the wisdom you need to endure through the trial.  After you have done so, seek counsel from your brethren in Christ who may have experienced what you are experiencing and ask them what they have done about it.  Seek and you will find but the bottom line and the most important thing is to ASK GOD!

DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! ASK GOD ABOUT IT! LOVE Y'ALL! GOD BLESS!
